Welcome to JRadius, the open-source Java RADIUS processing server and Java RADIUS Client. JRadius is not a stand-alone RADIUS server -- why reinvent the wheel especially when there are excellent open-source RADIUS servers, namely FreeRADIUS.

JRadius is licensed under a combination of the The GNU Library or "Lesser" General Public License (LGPL) and the The GNU General Public License (GPL). This software is OSI Certified Open Source Software. OSI Certified is a certification mark of the Open Source Initiative.

JRadius is being developed based on the following goals:

Utilize all the features of existing RADIUS servers.
Separation and portability of business logic from the underlying RADIUS server.
Capitalize on the vast open-source software and other resources available in Java.
Deployment of new logic without having to restart core RADIUS services.
Integrate with other authentication systems and protocols.
